This powerful yet simple technique has been used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine and in Taoist practices, to stimulate circulation, release tension, and awaken the body’s natural energy flow. Body tapping, also known as Qigong tapping or Meridian Tapping - simply involves rhythmically tapping or thumping different areas of the body to stimulate circulation, activate energy flow, and release tension and blockages. It's as simple as that!
It’s based on the concept of Qi (pronounced “chee”), or vital energy, which flows through our energetic pathways in the body called meridians. When Qi is blocked or stagnant, we feel tired, stressed, overwhelmed have pains & aches.
By tapping on key meridian points, or simply on your body, you help break up this stagnation, encourage blood flow, and send a wake-up call to your nervous system.

🌀 Think of tapping like this: Imagine a little vibration down on the ocean floor. It creates ripples going up, which create a small waves. These small waves gain, momentum, speed, power as they in turn rush towards the beach. A single vibration caused such powerful waves that they broke everything in their way to smithereens. That’s exactly what tapping does inside your body! Clears out all the junk!
Tapping isn’t just some mystical, woohoo concept—it’s backed by science and has been shown to have powerful effects on the body.
Here’s What Happens When You Start Tapping: the vibrations travel through your muscles, fascia, and energy channels, breaking up blockages, increasing energy flow. The tapping stimulates your physical sensation, getting you out of your head and into your body; this in turn calms nervous system shifting from a stressed out/survival mode to calm/rest & digest mode. And last but not least your brain gets a wake-up call as well!

Here's A Full Body Tapping Routine (Step-By-Step Guide)
Start at the Head & Face:
Lightly tap your forehead, temples, and cheekbones with your fingertips, then continue tapping all around your head. Tap around your jawline and behind your ears end by swiping down your neck.
Next Move to the Chest, Arms &Torso
Use your fists ( loose wrists you don't want to hurt yourself) to thump on the center of your chest , this is your thymus gland, responsible for boosting immunity- also known as the happiness point. Tap under the collarbone always moving from the centre outward. Then continue tapping down the outside of your arms to your fingertips and up the inside of your arms towards your armpits.
Next tap down to the solar plexus, all the way down to your pubic bone. Feel any tension melting away as you breathe in through the nose and out with a sigh aaaaaaagh.
To End Tap on the Legs & Feet
Use your open palms or loose fists to slap down the sides of your legs towards your feet. Then tap/slap back up along the inside of your legs towards your groin.
And you're done, finish up by shaking it all out. Wow! How do you feel???
