How to Use Acupressure for Quick & Natural Headache Relief

Hi sunshine,

If you've ever found yourself rubbing your temples, chugging water, and praying for your headache to disappear, this is for you.

I know that throbbing, can’t-think-straight, just-let-me-lay-down kind of headache is the worst—especially when you’ve got things to do, places to be, and no time to deal with it.

And guess what?  Us women, we suffer from headaches more often than men. Some are tension headaches while others are linked to hormonal shifts ( more on that soon, in another blog post)  But before you reach for another painkiller, let me show you a  natural and effective acupressure technique that cannot only relieve headaches  But more importantly,  PREVENT them from coming back!

Mind blowing, right? I bet you never thought there was a way to prevent pains and aches! Well, there is, and you're looking at it. All my work, blogs, videos, show you how to use acupressure, QiGong, Breathwork in 1-minute resets. These all help ease and release pain BUT, if you use them daily, THEY ACT PREVENTITAVELY!

Why Acupressure Works for Headache Relief

In this video, I walk you through two acupressure points on the Lung Meridian—one just above the wrist,( Lung-7) the other right on it, ( lung 9 )—that help calm your nervous system, improve circulation, and melt away tension (yep, that tight, heavy feeling in your head? It’s going bye-bye).

How to Use These  Acupressure Points for  Headache Relief:

1️⃣ Find the first point two fingers above your wrist, over the bone, you'll find a little groove there.
2️⃣ Press, pump, massage deeply  with your thumb  for 30 seconds to a minute, inhaling deeply through the nose, exhaling through the mouth. Pro tip: we always exhale through the mouth when we need to release emotions, thoughts & tension!
3️⃣ Move to the second point, right on your wrist, and repeat.
4️⃣ Close your eyes, relax your jaw, and let the tension fade away. Repeat this on the other arm, and that's it!

"Now, how do acupressure points on the lung meridian help release your headache?"

Great question! Let me explain it, oh so briefly. You see when you have a headache, that means that pressure is building up in your head, that's why you're in pain. This pain causes your neck, chest, diaphragm muscles to contract and your breath becomes shallow. These 2 acupressure points, clear any blockage from your lungs, throat, sinuses. So you breathe better, your muscles relax, the tension in your head releases.

Bonus: Practice this daily, to prevent tension headaches from occurring in the first place!

So the next time you feel a headache sneaking up on you, before you reach for the meds  give this a try. Your body already knows how to heal—you just have to give it the right signals.

Acupressure is one of the simplest yet most powerful self-care tools you can use. The best part? It's free, has no side effects, and works FAST.
